Winter Hiking Safety Workshop

Mount Spokane finally has some fresh snow!

Are you new to snowshoeing, or interested in learning more about staying safe and having fun on our region's winter trails? Join us as the Friends of Mount Spokane State Park team up with Washington Trails Association and Washington State Parks staff to present a Winter Hiking Safety Workshop in Spokane.

The event will be held in person on January 6 at the Spokane Valley Library, in the Diane E. Zahand Meeting Room East. Doors open at 6:15 pm and the workshop starts at 6:30 pm. We'll share info to help make your outings enjoyable and safe, plus offer suggestions on our favorite snowshoe locations in our region.
